two of my favorite things have been the novel Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll and skateboarding.  Someone named Nick Lamm decided to combine the two.  The music and non-skateboarding images were taken from a site that would be really fun when you were really high; I forget what site it is. Regardless Nick took some pretty good skateboarding spliced it with memorable images from the Disney version of the movie and added in some dope skateboarding...enjoy.

is pretty good on a skateboard.  Despite taking multiple nasty slams, loosing a shoe, and landing in the bag of quickrete, he managed to do some very good tricks on this very sketchy quarterpipe.  I blew a lot of photos today but there were a few that I enjoyed, this photo is not lit correctly, Chaney is kind of blurry and his right hand is hidden behind a leaf, but the picture has some redeeming qualities...

Along with shooting some portraits of Kristin, we also went to Mods vs. Rockers 2009 at the Monkey Wrench.  There were good beers, amazing bikes and some pretty rad people.  Mike Cook and Sonja invited us along for a drunken day out in the sun, thanks again.

Mike Cooks' Whip was one of my favorite of the bikes at the show.  He built this from the ground up, while others bikes were just purchased and polished.  I don't know who won but the contest but his bike would have gotten my vote.

Mike Cook and Kristin

Keeping with the tradition of beer and bikes the Monkey Wrench played movies about motorcycles and served ice cold beer all day.  Probably not the safest place to have a bike rally, but I had a good time.

Kristin was nice enough to let me use some of her first paycheck to buy some pocketwizards and a new lens.  These wonderful pieces of technology will hopefully help me to step my game up a little bit.  I wanted to try the pocketwizards out and  decided to go out into the garden with Patty and French to shoot a couple of portraits.  This is the pick of the litter, as they say...

are a lot scarier than they look.  Collins, Chaz and myself went out there a couple of Sunday's ago and had a really fun session.  I shot a couple of photos but this is the best of the bunch...

can vary depending on who you spend your day with and also where you spend it.  Yesterday five of us decided to do a low key thunder.  It involved the men drinking while the ladies shopped, drinks and dinner at the Collins and then to some random lookout point two blocks from our house.  Here is the day in picture/video form...

Hugs with the lady...

Then off to the fireworks...Bardstown Road was crazy...

Patty was enjoying the ride...

Some of us had secrets to share...

And others, myself included were just happy to be there...

can be fun and can have their ups and downs.  School was canceled for the week, but it is hard to skateboard with almost a foot of snow on the ground.  Ballard and I went to dog hill, he shot some video and I shot some pictures; but I had to dig my car out of the ground to get to work.  Positives and Negatives, expect the best, accept the worst...

Bad news first, I did not keep Joey (and this post is several months late, but I just got the film developed) the good news is that he did find a good home.  I caught him trying to sneak into the closet where we keep the dog treats and got evidence...

Usually make for decent blog fodder.  Shot this walking around one day, and I wish that I had a lot of money so that I could get a good film camera and pay for said film to be developed.  But I don't, so I gotta work with what I have...

is an boxer/great dane mix, named after Joe Biden.  We watched her for Andy and Holly while they were out of town.  She's a sweet dog and still looking for a home.  Hit me (or Andy) up if you wanna get a new puppy.
